Coral Springs, FL (June 14, 2017) – Caddy For A Cure, Inc., the non-profit program that offers golf fans a chance to be inside the ropes for a day to caddy for the world’s best golfers during official tournament weeks, is pleased to announce a new sponsorship agreement with OrthoGolfer. OrthoGolfer is in the business of manufacturing, marketing and selling orthotic devices to consumers who play golf.
The Caddy For A Cure program offers its caddy experiences from its website www.caddyforacure.com, where interested parties bid on the opportunity to caddy for a specific player and tournament. The auction winner spends the day with the player and their TOUR caddy on the driving range, putting green and golf course, watching each shot first-hand and experiencing the excitement of being part of a professional golf event. Caddy participation is tax deductible as allowed by law and 100% of auction proceeds are directed to support wounded military veterans, Fanconi anemia and other charities associated with the TOUR and its players.
Developed by leading physicians and tour professionals, OrthoGolfer Elite® delivers the first true orthotic made specifically for golfers. The patent pending device has been rigorously tested at leading teaching facilities and shown to help improve player balance, posture and overall performance. By properly stabilizing and realigning the feet, the body’s lower kinetic chain is dynamically affected into better alignment. This positive alignment leads to reduced joint pain, muscle fatigue and stiffness.
It continues to amaze and humble me that our program we dreamed about 15 years ago to help fight the horrible disease of Fanconi anemia and to support our U.S. military is alive and thriving,” said Russ Holden, Caddy For A Cure founder and veteran PGA TOUR caddy. “Through this great game of golf, we have been able to partner with many outstanding organizations and were thrilled when OrthoGolfer reached out to us. They are incredibly charity-minded and giving back to key organizations is a core value of the OrthoGolfer management team.” He concluded, “We’re looking forward to helping promote this innovative golf aid to our program participants and the golfing public and appreciate the generous support of this fine organization.”
Scott Becker, OrthoGolfer Co-founder and Certified Pedorthist commented, “It is great to be able to tie together the Caddy For A Cure charity component with our OrthoGolfer Elite product. This sponsorship is a natural addition to our commitment to golfers and the game of golf and is a perfect fit for demonstrating our desire to touch lives and give back.” Becker continued, “All of us at OrthoGolfer are honored to be associated with Caddy For A Cure and look forward to a longstanding relationship.”
