CORAL SPRINGS, FL – February 20, 2017 – Caddy For A Cure proudly announces the participation of their 2016 Liberty Mutual Invitational (LMI) team winners in the upcoming 2017 LMI National Finals:  Sergeant (Ret) Al Haslam; Private First Class (Ret) Jeff Mahl; Sergeant (Ret) Lito Santos; and Sergeant (Ret) Juan Velazquez. Their win from the December 12th, 2016 Caddy For A Cure LMI event qualified the team for an invitation to the 72-hole LMI National Finals to be held March 8th-12th at TPC Sawgrass.

Russ Holden, Caddy For A Cure founder and CEO commented, “We were thrilled to see that one of our wounded military groups was at the top of the leader board at our 2016 LMI golf tournament.  We have been very fortunate to be an LMI benefiting tournament and national finals qualifying site since 2010. Thru the generous support of our sponsors, we have been able to increase the number of wounded military members in our tournament each year.” He continued, “We know the therapeutic benefits of this great game of golf and introducing or encouraging participation in the game by our wounded military has been a core goal of ours for years. We have seen first-hand how involvement in the game has helped them adjust and cope with many of the injuries they incurred, both visible and emotional.” Concluding, Holden commented, “We couldn’t be happier or more honored to offer this opportunity in the National Finals. These four brave men have sacrificed so much in defense of our freedom. We know they are really looking forward it and that it will be a time they will never forget.”
