Caddy Opportunities
Christian Thomas Collins 1993-2021
It is with immense regret that we need to inform you of the passing of Christian Collins. He passed away Friday evening, August 27th, at 6:15 PM. Since you are a follower of Caddy For A Cure, you are likely very aware that Christian was, as he used to put it – “the reason for the season.” Plain and simple, his life with Fanconi anemia was the reason we started Caddy For A Cure over 20 years ago.
What a life he led in the 28 years he was with us. In the days since his passing we have had time to reflect on all that he was, and all that he did. Indeed, we could write volumes on his life and we intend to do that sometime soon.
We are deeply saddened to lose our pal, buddy, friend, National Spokesperson, son, and brother. This is a loss that we were hoping would never come, but it did. The ravages of Fanconi anemia took his organs and ultimately his liver failed among other issues.
There will be no service for him at this time. The family has decided to wait until times are better to somewhere down the road celebrate Christian’s incredible life. The family is overcome with joy to be able to continue his legacy by helping others in times of need. Christian’s Touch, a new non-profit organization has been established in Christian’s memory in order to offer support to Georgia Law Enforcement Officers and their families who have suffered a catastrophic event. This page will be dedicated to sharing stories of Christian’s life and how he was able to help others, as well as sharing testimonials of those that Christian is still able to help through charitable works in his memory.

Saturday/ Sunday October 19/20, 2024
This is the tournament of the year in South Florida. With ties to the world of golf, there will be more goodies, surprises, and fun at this event than any other you may ever play in. We expect to have our usual offering of high-end food and beverage vendors on hand to provide on course food to add to the excellent service and food at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, FL. This event is a wonderful way to enjoy golf and help others. Our list of returning participants continues to grow. Sign up today to secure your place.
