This is the opportunity of a golfing lifetime to caddy for Australian PGA TOUR golfer Adam Scott at the second of the FedEx Cup Playoffs at the Deustche Bank Championship. The 2010 Deutsche Bank Championship will be held again at the TPC Boston golf course in Norton, MA. The tournament dates are August 31 - September 6, 2010. The caddy date for Scott will be on Thursday, September 2, 2010. Come spend a day unlike anything else in professional sports with former Deutsche Bank Championship winner, Adam Scott.
Australian golfer, Adam Scott, first impressed the golf world in 2001 when he won the European Tour’s Alfred Dunhill Championship. He followed up this successful year with two subsequent European Tour wins at the Qatar Masters and Scottish PGA Championship in 2002 and the Scandinavian Masters in 2003. His recent victory at the Valero Texas Open shows that his game is in peak form again.
Although Scott briefly attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, his presence in American golf on the PGA TOUR was first duly noted in his performance against Tiger Woods in the semifinal of the 2003 World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship. Scott ultimately succumbed to Woods on the 19th hole, but he clearly showed he was a worldwide competitor. With this hot start to the 2003 PGA TOUR season, Scott went on to post his first PGA TOUR win at the Deutsch Bank Championship. Further wins on the PGA TOUR during 2004 and 2005 put Scott into the top 10 in the Official World Golf Rankings for the first time where he has since spent over 180 weeks.
Scott now concentrates mainly on the PGA TOUR, but he continues to play all over the world. In 2006 he won the Tour Championship and finished third on the PGA TOUR money list. In 2008 he played enough events on the European Tour to qualify for a playing on the Order of Merit for the first time since 2005. His form dipped in 2009 as dropped out of the top 50 in the world rankings and the top 100 of the PGA TOUR money list, but his 2010 shows promise, once again, where he recently posted a T14 at the Shell Houston Open and went on for his first win this season at the Valero Open.
Despite Scott’s fierce and effective competitiveness, he is well-known for his easy-going manner. His TOUR caddie, Tony Navarro, was Greg Norman's caddy for many years and is one of the greats of all time in the caddie world. His cool demeanor and humorous nature is sure to entertain you anytime you get a chance to be around him.
