---FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE---
Aaron Baddeley, Shaun Micheel and Adam Scott
Participate in Caddy For A Cure at The AT&T National
Coral Springs, FL - June 12, 2007 -
Caddy For A Cure, Inc., ., the only organized program that is exclusively approved by the PGA TOUR to offer caddie privileges to the public, is offering the opportunity to caddie for three of the PGA TOUR’s finest players in the official practice round of the inaugural AT&T National. Superstars Aaron Baddeley, Shaun Micheel and Adam Scott have chosen this exciting event to participate in Caddy For A Cure, allowing winning participants the opportunity to be inside the ropes, carrying their bag and spending the day with them.
"We are really looking forward to participating in this historic event at our nation’s capital over this July 4th holiday” says Russ Holden, Caddy For A Cure program founder and veteran Tour caddie. "Any one of the 120 PGA TOUR players who have earned the status to play in this prestigious event are truly the best golfers in the world, but to have these three Tour champions making themselves available to the golfing public through our program is remarkable” he continues.
The vision of the AT&T National is not only to create a highly competitive event for the best players in the world, but to raise funds and awareness for the Tiger Woods Foundation, which reaches millions of youth through character development, career exploration and grant making programs. Additionally, the event will pay tribute to the many courageous men and women serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. This vision is a perfect fit with Caddy For A Cure whose mission is to generate funds to be able to positively impact the lives of youth around the world through medical, educational and social advances. 100% of proceeds received by Caddy For A Cure are donated to various charitable organizations, including the Tiger Woods Foundation and the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund, the impetus behind Caddy For A Cure.
The way the program works is through online auctions on eBay. The opportunity to caddie during the official Tuesday practice round of a PGA TOUR tournament is offered and the winners earn the privilege of being side-by-side, inside the ropes on the range, putting greens and golf course, with the world's best Tour players. The experience is a relaxed, yet still very professional, PGA TOUR setting. "Caddies" get to watch their player's practice routines and shot-making skills, first-hand, without needing to share their player's time with other amateurs or worrying about their own golf performance. The amount of one-on-one time with the Players is unparalleled from any other professional sports experience.
New to this year's caddie opportunity is the inclusion of a free 3-day, 2-night golf vacation package for two (2) with Bison Homes at their Torreon Golf Course. The Torreon Golf Course and Golf Villas are located in beautiful Show Low, AZ, just a 3-hour drive from Tucson or Phoenix. Two rounds of golf per person are included in the package.
Additional bonuses offered to CFAC winners from our sponsors, Adidas and PeakVision Sports, are a high-quality Adidas golf shirt and hat and a free pair of sunglasses designed specifically for golf by PeakVision Sports.
The auction for the AT&T National will run from Tuesday, June 12th at 7:00pm ET for 10-days, closing on Friday, June 22nd. The caddie date is Tuesday, July 3rd. Interested bidders can find the auctions through the auction links on the CFAC website at www.myspace.com/caddyforacure or directly through ebay.com by searching for Caddy For A Cure. Auction bids are tax deductible according to IRS Regulations.
