Special Note from Mary Ellen Eiler at Fanconi
Dear Mr. Hulse,
I'm writing to thank you for participating in "Caddy for a Cure," the program created by Russ Holden. As you know, the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund benefits from this program, and we are very grateful for your contributions to it through your participation during the last two seasons. I suspect that you had a great deal of fun caddying for the "best",
but please know that you did a tremendous amount of good, too, by
helping us in our effort to get ahead of this very difficult disease.
It is through the charitable contributions that come from organizations
like Caddy for a Cure that we are able to fund research into such
a rare disease. Last year, we were able to support $1.4 million in
research in 11 medical universities/institutes in the US and Europe
and hope to do the same this year.
Thank you so much for your kindness in supporting FA research. By the way, we
publish a newsletter that is sent once a year to donors. I don't
want to inundate you with mail but, if you would like to receive
it to learn a little bit more about the Fund, please feel free to
send me your address, and I'll see to it that you receive a copy.
