This the opportunity to spend a day inside the ropes with Jason Dufner at the 2013 Arnold Palmer Invitational. The 2013 Arnold Palmer Invitational will be played again at the historic Bay Hill Lodge and Golf Club in Orlando, FL. The tournament will be held from March 19th thru March 25th and the caddy experience date will be Wednesday, March 20th durng the pro am competition round.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This chance of a lifetime takes you Inside the Ropes of an official PGA TOUR event and actually be a caddy for a day. Your day will start when the player arrives to warm up on the putting green and driving range. You will meet your player, their TOUR caddy and a Caddy For A Cure representative at the designated meeting point (usually the putting green), and off you go. You will watch them hit balls, warming up as they usually do, preparing to compete against some of the best and most recognized players in the world.
You will see up close how professional caddies work together with their players to prepare for tournament competition. Most importantly, you will have the chance to walk the tournament golf course, side by side with your player, chatting about some of their greatest experiences in their career and the great game of golf.
In addition to your caddy experience, you will also be provided with high quality gifts to be long-lasting reminders of your caddy day. Each auction winner will receive the following:
A Caddy For A Cure logo'd shirt and logo'd hat; a Sharpie custom pen package; a 3-day, 2-night golf vacation at the Torreon Resort in Arizona provided by Golf Community Management LLC; a pair of VedaloHD Sunglasses, a V-1 Home Version golf analyzing software package; A TIN CUP gift package with a custom ball marking kit and pens; and a Caddy For A Cure custom bib suitable for autographs from your player and for framing.
After the auction closes, if you choose to make an electronic payment by credit card or utilizing PayPal, you will need to include a 4% service charge since 100% of auction proceeds are donated to charity. It is our aim to make this a day you will never forget and we go to extreme lengths to insure this for you. We encourage you to read our past winners' comments after they joined the Caddy For A Cure “Family.” We feel very comfortable in saying that each of our past winners had a tremendous experience that changed the way they view golf.
That being said, as under the Terms and Conditions, if something happens that does not prove to be what we have offered, you can: A) Take an alternate player. B) Take an alternate event. C) Receive a refund.
To ensure the enjoyability and safety of all parties, Caddy For A Cure has a Terms and Conditions agreement that MUST be signed and returned to the Caddy For A Cure office prior to your caddy day.

100% of the payment that you make for this day goes to numerous charities. The main impetus behind the program is a disease called Fanconi Anemia. Fanconi anemia is a devastating bone marrow disorder that ravages children, making life most difficult for the lives it touches. It is Caddy For A Cure’s main passion in life to eradicate this dreadful disease. Because of the research sponsored by the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund, youngsters with FA now have a much greater likelihood of surviving bone marrow transplants. Additionally, thirteen Fanconi anemia genes have now been identified, including one (FANCD1) that is identical to one of the breast cancer susceptibility genes, BRCA2. Further research has ascertained that the FA genes play a key role in genomic stability and DNA repair, thus making research into FA applicable not only to the few FA patients in the country but to millions who acquire such cancers as breast, ovarian, prostate, and pancreatic. Thus, funds raised for FA potentially benefit millions. 20% of the final auction price goes to the FARF Fund for research into the disease.
A second and equally important charity that our program supports is the Birdies for the Brave military homefront outreach program initiated by the PGA TOUR. This program is designed to provide financial support and other assistance to warriors wounded during their service to our country.
And finally, the PGA Tour player’s charity of choice, the PGA TOUR Caddy Assistance Fund and the host tournament site each receive 20% of the proceeds.
