Toby McSwain with Tom Pernice, Jr. at the Verizon Heritage
I enjoyed every minute of my experience. The bag was heavy, but not butt-kicking heavy and the pace of play was not bad. I am looking forward to my upcoming retirement and the beginning of my new career as a PGA TOUR caddy! I’d like to thank Russ and Colleen Holden for creating such a wonderful program. It is a win-win for everyone involved and I hope they continue to be successful. It was a great experience that I will remember forever. |

Caddy Gary Garrard with Stewart Cink at the Verizon Heritage
I am certainly a big fan of CFAC...can't tell you how much fun we had at Hilton Head. So much fun I want to do it again in Atlanta! It was just an unbelievable experience with Stewart and his Tour caddy, Frank. They were so willing to share what they think during tournament preparation and competition, and I really learned a lot about professional golf. The day was everything I hoped for and more!
Take care.

Caddy Peter Doctors with Luke Donald at the EDS Byron Nelson
Had a great time with Luke and even got a bonus of being paired with Sergio. Both Luke and Christian were very gracious of the donation, and I learned many things I had no idea of. Gives you a much better idea of what goes into the professional game of golf. |

Caddy Austin Hill with Mike Weir at the EDS Byron Nelson
Russ,
First, I want to thank you for creating such a worthy cause in Caddie For A Cure. Without you working so hard to create this unique experience, I would have never had an opportunity to have one of the greatest days of my life. Being able to spend the day with Mike Weir was just amazing. The ability to carry the bag of a Masters champion and 7-time PGA Tour winner is not an opportunity that comes around often. A lot of people don't realize just how gracious these guys are to take a day out of their practice regimen to allow an outsider inside the ropes with them. Mike was very hospitable and answered all of the many questions I that I was dying to ask. The biggest thrill of the day was after the round, when Mike offered me the opportunity take a few swings with his driver… Thank you again for all your help in setting up this once-in-a-lifetime experience for myself and it was certainly a graduation present I will never forget. |

Caddy Drew Fassett with Charlie Hoffman at the Wachovia Championship
Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful opportunity. I’m still telling stories about the round with my buddies. Charlie and Vijay were an absolute blast to be around and I can’t wait to do it again. Really looking forward to seeing the pictures! All the best to you and let’s definitely stay in touch and play a round of golf sometime soon! |

Heath Grewell with Ernie Els at the Wachovia Championship
I’m not sure how to thank you for making my trip to Quail Hollow an experience I will never forget. From the moment I won the auction you and Colleen have been so helpful and generous. You probably hear all the time that participants had ‘the day of their life’ but in my case, it was much more. The opportunity to spend the day with Ernie was indescribable.
In the meantime, you were an incredible host. I never dreamt the day would have turned out the way it had. Up until we met Ernie I already had the experience of a lifetime. All the players and caddies you introduced me to. Hanging out on the range and putting green. Eating lunch with the caddies. Touring the Callaway trailer. Putting with the guys from Yes Putters and the great glasses from Mike from Peak Vision. Everyone was so hospitable. The glasses you got for me were just another bonus and all my golfing buddies and players in our league think they are great! |

Caddy John Hartman with Sergio Garcia at the Wachovia Championship
Colleen,
Thank you for the opportunity presented. This is a really great thing Russ and yourself are doing. I had an unbelievable day with Sergio and Glenn. They were extremely accommodating and a blast, in general. It was definitely a day I won’t forget! |

Martin Pinckney with Zach Johnson at the AT&T Classic, Atlanta
"I had the greatest day of my golf life caddying for the Masters Champion Zach Johnson. I will never forget this day as Zach and Damon were incredibly nice. Being able to be interviewed by The Golf Channel and appear on TV was only icing on the cake. Count me in for more in the future as I am a fan of Caddy For A Cure forever." |

Caddies Jordon Chandler and Benjamin Baggett with Niclas Fasth at the AT&T Classic
Russ.....thanks again for another great day hanging out with you. I have so say....Jordon & Benjamin had the day of their lives. Niclas & Dave were unbelievably accommodating and just went way overboard for them. Please pass along to them how much we appreciate them devoting their day to these guys....it really meant a lot. And for me, spending the day with Zach was like hanging out with a rock star....pretty cool.
Well...thanks again....for your hospitality and your friendship. Might be next year but can't wait to do it again. Take care. |

Shem Martin with John Rollins at the Crowne Plaza Invitational
My participation in the Caddy for a Cure program could not have been better.
I got to get inside the ropes on one of the most renowned courses in the
country and witness one of the worlds best golfers prepare for a tournament.
Everybody involved, from Russ to all the players and caddies that I had
the good fortune to meet could not have been nicer. The fact that I get a
CD with pictures commemorating the day and several other great perks is
icing on the cake. The money goes to several worthy causes and I look
forward to doing it again.

Doc Applegate with Tom Lehman at the Crowne Plaza Invitational
I just wanted to say thanks for the tremendous day I had at the Crowne Plaza Colonial Invitational. I was on the bag of Tom Lehman who has been one of my favorite players for as long as I can remember. He was truly a gentleman as was Andy Martinez his long time caddy. You (Russ) made everything very simple with your communication and effort prior to the event.
If you love golf, you must try this at least once. I will definitely participate again in the future. Even more important than rubbing elbows with pros and the quality swag is the much needed assistance for the charity. You might even find (as I did the next day) that being so close to the best players in the world may help your own game in regards to tempo, course management, etc. It is a win win situation for everyone involved. Again a special thanks to Tom and Andy for their role and you can look for him to be in the winner’s circle again soon. Thanks so much Caddy for a Cure!!!

Caddy Joe Moore with Shaun Micheel at the AT&T National
As a lawyer I pride myself on being able to use language effectively to describe accidents, events, etc., but the only word I can think of to describe my day with Shaun and, his caddie, Tony, is “indescribable.” There are no words to explain how incredible my day with them was. From the moment we met on the practice green, I felt as though Shaun’s and Tony’s only purpose for his practice round was to make my day special, and they certainly did. I loved being “inside the ropes,” carrying the (not as heavy as I thought it would be) bag and watching Shaun play one of the finest courses in the world.

Caddy Fred Keel with Adam Scott at the AT&T National
Russ,
Thanks again to you and your organization for putting together a great experience. being inside the ropes on the
biggest stage of all professional tours was incredible and I'll definitely be able to take much of what I've learned on
future caddying gigs that I stumble upon.

Caddy Tim Freeh with Aaron Baddeley at the AT&T National
I really enjoyed the day - thank you very much for the opportunity to spend a day on the other side of the ropes.
Aaron and Pete made me feel right at home and I'm happy to hear I didn't get in their way too much.
They are both consummate professionals and it's pretty clear why they have been so successful as a team - and I suspect
the best is yet to come. Again my thanks to you and Colleen and I wish you many more years of success. I'll be
looking forward to bidding next year if Caddy for a Cure makes a return to Congressional.

Caddy Rob Rains with Justin Rose at the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational
Russ,
I am not sure on where to start my thanks for the experience last week. My expectations were set high going
in to the day and I will tell you that those expectations were exceeded. The fun started the night before by meeting
and then hanging out with some caddies. The big day started by meeting Mick. Mick was very helpful and a good guy.
While waiting for our range session he introduced me to other caddies and I ran in to a couple of guys I had been out
with the night before. I then grabbed the bag and headed to the range to meet Justin. After meeting and spending a few
moments with him I realized he was a good guy. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed all day. I learned from Justin and
Mick all day long about targets, best places to lay up, what part of the green to shoot for. This is an experience every day
golfers should take part in.
The whole day was put in to perspective when I met Christian. He is a very nice kid and was having as much fun meeting the pros as I was. I plan to do this again in the future.
Thank You,
Rob Rains

Caddy David Kornides with Davis Love III at the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational
Russ & Colleen,
What an incredible experience to spend the day with my longtime favorite player Davis Love III and his caddy, Joe Lacava.
The day far exceeded my expectations! Watching Davis' effortless swing while hearing Joe analyze the course was priceless.
What an added bonus that Davis played his practice round with British Open Champion, Padraig Harrington and Paul McGinley.
It was fun to hear them all talk about their tour experiences and realize that these world class golfers are just regular guys.
Thanks for forever ruining my ability to watch a professional golf tournament from outside the ropes!

Caddy Paul Vogt with K.J. Choi at the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational
Dear Caddy for a Cure,
My day at the Bridgestone Invitational was wonderful! I’m a huge Nike Golf fan and wanted to meet one of their
TOUR players, so meeting K.J. Choi was great. We had a great time talking and laughing. I was very grateful
for everything Caddy For A Cure did for me that day. I got to meet a lot of the TOUR players and they were all very nice.
It was just a great day I won’t forget.
Thank you very much,
Paul C Vogt

Caddy Robin Kirtley with Jerry Kelly at The Barclays
Hi Russ,
A great pleasure meeting you also. I had a fun time with Jerry and Eric and Jerry was terrific with the amateurs, very
attentive to them indeed. Christian and Calen are wonderful boys, great spirit and personality. We all too often
get way too caught up in what we think are problems and then you get to meet these boys and you soon realize how our
problems are so trivial. They are as you say very brave and special kids indeed.
Kind regards,
Robin
